"According to IDC in 2010 Samsung has the chance to lead in all areas in Europe as they already lead in the segment of usual phones. I mentioned before that Samsung first enters the markets important for the brand image and drive Nokia out to the developing countries, where cheap products are in demand. It is a fragment of the overall strategy. The primary objective of Samsung is to generate demand for its phones in the mature markets, because the behavior of its consumers is copied in developing countries 1.5-2 years afterwards. I think you know what it means. Samsung has a lot to offer in terms of cheap models, but they leave this area for Nokia at the moment. The average price of Nokia phones is around €64, when Samsung has a much higher parameter. If you can win earning money there is no need to lose it." Read more here:
"Keep your eyes on the www.xda-downloads.com as it looks like something interesting may be brewing. While XDA developers is home to some of the questionably legal software for our devices (and outright thefts of OEM's proprietary software), it is also the home to many nifty little utilities that you may want for your phone. So an app store of hacks might prove valuable." Via Pocketpcthoughts
"The MeeGo project is happy to announce "Day 1" of the MeeGo Handset user experience project. Many of you will remember this "Day 1" concept from March, when we first made the MeeGo core OS source code available and started development towards the MeeGo 1.0 release. Today, the handset baseline source code is available to the development community. This code is being actively developed as MeeGo 1.1, which is scheduled for release in October. The team has been preparing MeeGo Gitorious with all the sources and infrastructure to perform the weekly builds for MeeGo 1.1 development. The MeeGo UI team has also been busy creating the handset reference user experience and preparing the MeeGo UI design principles and interaction guidelines. This milestone marks the completion of the merger of Moblin and Maemo as major architecture decisions and technical selections have been determined. Today, we are also opening the MeeGo Build Infrastructure." Read more here:

"Nielsen, the ratings company, have conducted a survey of the most popular apps across a range of mobile OS platforms. The results make for interesting, if somewhat unsurprising reading. Facebook comes out on top across all platforms surveyed as the most downloaded application used with one glaring exception; Android. It does manage to muster a pretty convincing second place on Android, but is a good bit behind Android's most downloaded app, Google Maps. On the iPhone and Blackberry platforms Facebook reigns supreme, indeed Blackberry Facebook downloads make it the front runner by a wide margin and in a reversal from the Android stats Google Maps is beat into second place pretty convincingly. You can check out the positions of different apps for yourself in the chart." via mobile-review.com
